Research interests
我々はバクテリアDNAのコンタミネーションの無い耐熱性DNA合成酵素(eukaryote-made Taq DNA polymerase)の作成に成功した(J Clin Microbiol 2011)この酵素はバクテリアを正確・高感度にPCR検出できるため,感染症起炎菌のPCR検出に有用となる.また, eukaryote-made Taq polymeraseを併用して,melting temperature (Tm) mapping methodを独自開発した.Tm mapping法とは,検出菌からPCR ampliconを作成し,そこから得られた7つのTm値を二次元にmappingした“形"を菌のフィンガープリントとして用いる新たな同定方法であり,迅速かつ低コストの同定を可能とする(Scientific Reports 2015).
