Research interests
脳科学の究極の目標は人間の精神の営みを理解することです.私たちの精神の営みのベースには知識があります.思考のベースには過去に獲得した知識があり,それを照合しながら新しい事柄を考えていきます.創造性も過去の知識がベースになっています.もし記憶することができずに知識を形成することができなければ,精神的な営みもできません.そういう意味で,[記憶]は人間の精神の営みの一番ベースにあるのです.進行中の研究プロジェクトは,次の3つです.
1.記憶アップデートの分子・細胞メカニズム
2.細胞集団の活動動態解析と回路モデルに基づいた記憶統合プロセスの解明
3.記憶再固定化システムをモデルとした記憶ダイナミクスの理解
