We have analyzed the extent to which the CP angles to be measured at B factories can deviate from the geometrical ones defined in the unitarity triangle under the existence of new physics. The measurements are given in a rephasing invariant form. If the KM matrix is not a 3 × 3 unitary matrix, φ̃1 and φ̃3 are affected, and the value of φ̃3 depends on the decay mode. The deviation is found to be less than the experimental precision attained in the next decade. The deviation of the sum of the three angles from π cannot be detected unless new physics contributes significantly to b decay or c decay.
