当時、日本においてはDTP (Desk Top Publishing)やEP (Electronic Publishing)が話題となり、日本文字レタリングのさまざまなフォントを作成できる優れたシステムが必要となった。本稿では、コンピュータを使った日本文字レタリングの方法とシステムの構造を報告したもの。
