高臨場感遠隔教育システムの構成法の一検討

抄録

The broad band communication network has come into wide use recently. The real time communication of multi-places which having many high-quality images is useful widely and used by the communication network. It is important to get the presence from distance for smoothly performing the real time communication of multi-places. In this study, the distance education as an instance of distance communication is adopted. The factors of realizing the presence are proposed and the methods fulfilling those factors, specially, the methods of images disposition and camera operations are described. For turning the spaces of multi-places into one space in the method of images disposition, the ways of vertical connection and horizontal connection are defined. The method of camera operations is presented with the standing position or person for obtaining the intuitive operations comparison with the usual control by mouse. The efficient method is indicated from experiments.
