Research interests
天然には人が医薬品として求める多様な構造と生物活性を有する天然有機化合物があります.一方,資源が枯渇しつつある今日にあって,新規生理活性物質を天然から見いだすことが困難になりつつあります.私は,天然物化学研究を基盤に,構造生物学,酵素工学に至る幅広い分野の方法論を取り入れ,医薬品開発等に有用な新規シード化合物を見いだすことで社会に貢献することを目的に,下記,主要テーマに取り組んでいます.
