title = "Unconditional security of the Bennett 1992 quantum key-distribution protocol over a lossy and noisy channel",
abstract = "The study of unconditional security of the Bennett 1992 quantum key-distribution protocol over loss-free channel was discussed. It was shown that Bob's detector discriminates between single-photon states on one hand and vaccum states or multiphoton states on other hand. The general formula for the estimation of the phase errors from bit errors was derived. It was also shown that boundary loss rate, at which Eve could induce phase errors freely without inducing bit errors coincides with, where Eve employs optimum unambigous state discrimination measurement.",
