CePdAl is a dense-Kondo compound with the Néel temperature TN = 2.7 K. The magnetic order disappears under pressure about 1 GPa. We measured the electrical resistivity under pressure at the temperature down to 0.1 K. The residual resistivity increases monotonically with increasing pressure up to 0.6 GPa, and rapidly decreases at 1.0 GPa. The resistivity shows a T1.5 dependence, like a non-Fermi liquid behavior, at the pressure above 0.6 GPa. On the other hand, the Fermi liquid state is stabilized under the magnetic field 7 T at the pressure of 1.2 GPa. These results indicate that a magnetic instability near the quantum critical point affects both the residual resistivity and the temperature dependence of the resistivity, and this instability is suppressed by applying magnetic field.
