abstract = "We have reported the recent activities for research on very-high-frequency (VHF) sound in Japan. In this paper (part-2), we introduce the measurement result of several categories of VHF sound exposure, and brief result of auditory evaluation test for VHF noise exposure. In recent years, the devices which utilize or generate VHF sounds as like rodent repelling devices, ultrasonic cleaning machines and IH cookers are increasing in public space or our living environment. In order to ensure the security of people exposed to VHF sounds, we measured the sound pressure level for several noise sources around environment. Moreover, auditory evaluation test of VHF sounds was carried out. Both results of measurement and auditory evaluation tests show that VHF sounds around our environment contain potential hazard.",
