N2 - Some mistakes were found by the authors in the above paper. The authors miscalculated the values of bond length Eb and chemisorption energy Echem. The Table 2 should be corrected as shown in below. Based on the corrected values in Table 2, the figures have to be replaced by Fig. 2, Fig. 3, and Fig. 4 below. The subsequent results of the total chemisorption energy tot chem should be ' 0.063 and 0.065 eV/ 2' instead of the mistaken values ( 0.063 and 0.064 eV/ 2) on page 4, left column, line 10. Instead of the miscalculated values of the adsorption free energy £ads by eq. (9) with the chemisorption energy Echem in Table 2, '®Cl < 2.08 eV' should read '®Cl < 1.94 eV', ' 2.08 eV < ®Cl < 1.94 eV' should read ' 1.94 eV < ®Cl < 1.87 eV', ' 1.93 eV < ®Cl < 1.49 eV' should read ' 1.87 eV < ®Cl < 1.52 eV', ' 1.49 eV < ®Cl < 1.32 eV' should read ' 1.52 eV < ®Cl < 1.40 eV', and '®Cl > 1.32 eV' should read ®Cl > 1.40 eVon page 4, right column, line 5 to 14 from the bottom. Moreover, the corrected value should read ®Cl > 1.4 eV instead of 1.3 eV < ®Cl on page 7, left column, line 6 from the bottom, and the corrected value should read 1.94 eV instead of 2.1 eVon page 7, left column, line 3 from the bottom.
