The emission spectra of excimers and exciplexes composed of light alkali-metal atom in first excited state and 4He atoms in cryogenic He gas was investigated. The assignment was made experimental due to separation of emission spectra of heavier alkali-metal atoms with different number of He atoms. The infrared emission spectrum of K atom was excited in liquid He from K *He6 which was observed on comparing the spectra of K *Hen. The assignment of observed spectra was confirmed by ab initio calculation of adiabatic potential curves and peak positions of emission spectra of exciplexes.
