N2 - Increase of people who use public transportation, it is possible to realize an environment-friendly society. In order to promote the use of public transportation, we try to reduce the waiting time at the station. We propose a system that informs the current location of the tram by using smartphone. In addition, we also propose a navigation system of the shortest walking route to the tram station. For evaluating the usefulness of this system, we performed a demonstration experiment on an actual LRT system in the center of Toyama city. We conducted our investigation by questionnaire. From the results, we found the effectiveness and problems of the system.
