A unidirectional linear response neuro-fuzzy controller based on fibonacci search

抄録

This paper presents a unidirectional linear response (ULR) neuro-fuzzy controller based on Fibonacci Search (FS) method. The system consists of input, membership function, minimum and deffuzification that are all constructed with ULR networks and the hardware implementation is simple. We attempt to train the fuzzy controller with FS method which is a kind of linear search algorithm and is considered to be one of the best unconstrained optimization algorithms to obtain better control in applications. We applied this proposed method to a common control problem of inverted pendulum. The result shows the proposed method has good capability in control efficiency and wide competent range of initial angle.
