A new type reinforced soil structure with inserting pile foundation

抄録

This study aims to achieve a new type reinforced soil structure that can be substitute for one made up of concrete with similar scale, and to contribute sustainable development. Three experimental studies to confirm the practicability of the target structure, full-scale static and impact loading tests and a dynamic centrifuge model test, were carried out and simple design method that can reproduce the experiments' response of the structure was proposed in this study. In this paper, the summary of the experimental studies and the proposed design method are introduced.
