抄録

A 47-year-old man was admitted for general malaise, cough, and fever. Chest radiograph showed the consolidation with air-bronchogram in both upper lung fields. Histopathologic findings from transbronchial lung biopsy revealed organizing pneumonitis, and laboratory data revealed liver injury. We diagnosed him as having cryptogenic organizing pneumonitis with liver injury. He was started on prednisolone 40 mg/day. His symptoms, abnormalities of chest radiograph, and liver injury improved. Cases of liver injury as cryptogenic organizing pneumonitis are rare.
