小学校外国語活動における振り返りカードを用いた評価方法に関する研究

抄録

The main purpose of this study is to construct a conceptual model, which explains the "student self-evaluation card" employed in the "Foreign Language Activity" in elementary schools in Japan. The data collection instrument used in this study was an interview of four public elementary school homeroom teachers. Analysis was carried out by Structure-Construction Qualitative Research Method (SCQRM) developed by Saijo (2007, 2008). From the results of this study, four elementary school teachers have almost similar perceptions about the selfevaluation card, and three categories about the use of card are generated; roles of the self-evaluation card, effective use of the card, and effectiveness of the card. The self-evaluation card may be helpful in encouraging students to be autonomous and also in motivating teachers to accomplish their teaching objectives.
