Rem Koolhaas/OMA is the office that influenced architecture since the second half of 1970's. Looking through their complete works it is safe to say that rem Koolhaas/OMA expanded the horizons of architectural thinking there by brought alternative ways that materialize the presence of architecture in our urbanity. This article handles the key process of its activities, which often referred by itself as tabula rasa. While the notion of tabula rasa stands for blank slate by birth, the work of Rem Koolhaas/OMA recognizes greatly the excessively confusing state of urban culture and aim to create spaces for freer creative spirits. This article focuses on the environment of mass-culture that surrounded the architects of the late 20th century and the process of architectural design that the office of Rem Koolhaas/OMA has set on course. The article delivers the hypothesis that the following generation can stand upon in order for them to found their creative process anew.
