研究開始時の研究の概要

The firing patterns of spatially-selective neurons in the hippocampus play a critical role in spatial navigation. Using a 3D maze, a wireless data logger, and deep learning-powered pose estimation, we will compare the horizontal and vertical response properties of place cells in the hippocampus.
