Abstract

A report on superconductivity in the pyrochlore compound Cd2Re2O7 was presented. A bulk superconductivity at 1 K was evidenced by the resistivity, magnetic susceptibility and specific heat measurements on single crystals. It was suggested that a peculiar electronic structure lies behind the superconductivity by the phase transition found at 200 K.
