Abstract

Two new alkaloids, stemona-amines F and G, were isolated from the roots of Stemona tuberosa Lour. (Stemonaceae). The structure of stemona-amine F was determined by X-ray crystallography and that of stemona-amine G was determined by interpretation of spectroscopic data. The absolute structure of stemona-amine F was established by VCD spectroscopy.
