Abstract

Simultaneous QAM conversion of CATV multi-channel signals for the identical broadcast information has been successfully demonstrated by using external optical modulators for the first time. The novel QAM conversion system is assumed to be used for the emergency broadcast and local commercial on CATV multi-channel.
