Remarks on a method to estimate the number of sources in blind source separation

Abstract

On the blind source separation problem, there is a method to use a quotient function of complex valued time-frequency informations of two observed signals. Studying a commutative distribution function of the quotient function, we can estimate original sources under some assumptions. We will give some remarks on the method in terms of application.
