Abstract

This paper presents an Over-The-Air evaluation method for large-scale MIMO antennas to create the full-rank channel matrix. In this proposed method, the scatterers are virtually arranged in such a way that they have the same effect as that of randomly-arranged scatterers. This method allows us to measure the full-rank channel matrix using a limited number of scatterers. This method is useful for assessing a high MIMO channel capacity of large-scale MIMO antenna.
