Abstract

A comparative study of two methyl halide molecules, CH3F and CH3Cl, was carried out. Furthermore, the explicit wavelength dependence of the differential cross sections was explored. The experimental data were complemented by an extensive theoretical treatment made using electron multiple scattering calculations.
