Abstract

Electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility have been measured on Ce(Ni1-xPdx)2Ge2 single crystals (x = 0.0, 0.12 and 1.0). Ce(Ni0.88Pd0.12)2Ge2 is paramagnetic at least down to 0.4 K. The set of crystal field parameters of CePd2Ge2 are determined based on the fitting of the magnetic susceptibility.
