Abstract

Compounds in the U-Si system were found to be classified into three groups; the paramagnetic heavy-fermion system (U3Si5; γ = 120mJ/K2U-mol), the ferromagnet (USi; Tc = 127K, μ0 = 0.1μB) and Pauli paramagnetic metals (U3Si, U3Si2, USi3).
