Abstract

The frustrated spin system of quasi-one dimension magnet of Ca 3Co2-xMxO6 (M:metal) single crystals has been investigated in a temperature range between 10 K and RT and in a magnetic field range up to 20 T. We aim at the application of the unstable spin state as a flip-flop circuit device using the behavior of the spin frustration in the future. For these purposes, the basic behaviors of the magnetism and the magneto-transport phenomena were studied by the samples of various metals M. The stable state and unstable state of the magneto-resistance were apparently discriminated.
