Abstract

The calcium carbonate system made of a polymer template and CaCO 3 have been attracting a great interest in the field of biomineralization and organic-inorganic hybrid materials. Although many kinds of polymers have been employed as a matrix for the crystallization of CaCO 3, the composites that consist of CaCO3 and carbon nanotubes are quite rare. Here we report fabrication of CaCO3/single- walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) nanocomposite using fullerodendron-assisted approach.
