Abstract

Previously, we have developed a method of eliminating coupling between AOA and MIMO arrays by optimizing reactive loads. In this paper, to investigate the mechanism, a new physical measure, named the CAR (Current Area Ratio), is introduced to show that EM-transparency of the elements is attained due to the cancellation of radiation fields, caused by the out-of-phase currents induced on the elements.
