Abstract

This letter proposes a new wind power generator system using a hybrid rectifier circuit which consists of a three-phase voltage-tripling rectifier circuit and a three-phase bridge rectifier. In this generator system, the power output optimized to a wind force can be obtained without using the control circuit. The effectiveness of the proposed generator system is shown by simulations and experiments.
