Abstract

We use the sintered Fe-Cu-C material as a representative material of powder metallurgy (PM). Cu and C which are additive elements of the sintered Fe-Cu-C material contribute to the improvement of mechanical strength and Cu additionally has a role of volumetric control. Graphite powder is used for C, which is diffused into Fe during sintering.
