Abstract

This paper proposes an analytical method for calculating the harmonic currents of a threephase bridgecontrolled rectifier with AC filters under unbalanced conditions. The proposed method considers the influence of overlap angles and commutation impedances by taking into account the AC filters, and the analytical equations for the harmonic currents on both the DC and AC sides are derived. The analysis is based on the frequencydomain method and the rectifier switching functions. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by comparing it with the results of simulations.
