Abstract
This paper proposes an analytical method for calculating the harmonic currents of a three-phase bridge-controlled rectifier with AC filters under unbalanced conditions. The proposed method considers the influence of overlap angles and commutation impedances by taking into account the AC filters, and the analytical equations for the harmonic currents on both the DC and AC sides are derived. The analysis is bused on the frequency-domain method and the rectifier switching functions. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by comparing if with the results of simulations.
