Anomalous transport properties in PrRu4P12 single crystal

Abstract

We report Hall effect and magnetoresistance in a single crystal of PrRu4P12 which was reported to exhibit a metal-insulator (M-I) transition at TMI = 60 K. An anomaly in the temperature dependence of Hall coefficient across TMI indicates a change of Fermi surface, while non-linear field dependence of Hall resistivity and drastic field suppression of resistivity at low temperatures indicate an exotic ground state in this compound.
