Abstract
This paper proposes an analytical method for calculating the harmonic currents produced by a three-phase bridge-controlled rectifier with AC filters. In the proposed method, the effect of AC filters on the overlap angle are taken into account and analytical expressions for the harmonic currents on the AC side are derived. All the calculations are conducted only by algebraic calculation with high accuracy. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by comparison with the results of simulation method.
