N2 - In this paper, we report the outcomes of a trial analysis of information collected from the weekly acquisition of altmetrics index values for research papers that were published in Scopus. While numerous applications of altmetrics have been explored, there is a lack of methodical evidence regarding their reliability, validity, and contextual usage, and only few large-scale studies have been conducted [2]. Additionally, there is a lack of understanding regarding the generation and utilization of these metrics by stakeholders, and the evaluation of index values remains uncertain. By accumulating altmetrics data and conducting time-series analysis, it may be possible to identify an optimal approach for utilizing these index values.
