Abstract

This paper presents a 256 × 256 large-scale MIMO antenna with double-helix array structure. The proposed structure enables resolving the difficulties encountered in previous studies via subarray arrangement in a three-dimensional configuration. The analytical results using the double-helix array structure reveal that it is possible to achieve a channel capacity exceeding 100 Gbps in a limited and small volume.
