Abstract

This paper introduces a practical application approach of S-PSA to reinforced soil walls. In this approach, the seismic failure probability of a reinforced soil wall is estimated from the uncertainties of maximum tensile forces occurring in respective geogrids depending on the probabilistic seismic intensity at the target area and those pull out strength.
