Abstract

Adnexal torsion in obstetrics and gynecology is one of acute abdomen, frequently occurring in women of reproductive age. So, prompt diagnosis is mandatory to avoid losing reproductive function. Adnexal torsion can be divided into ovarian torsion and isolated tubal torsion. We make a comprehensive review of torsion in obstetrics and gynecology.
