A case report; patient with the second cancer of the trachea treated by radiation therapy for esophageal cancer 6 years before

Abstract

A 82-year-old male received radiation therapy for esophageal carcinoma. The tumor disappeared after irradiation. Six years later, he was re- irradiated for the second cancer of the trachea and this tumor was also controlled. Radiation therapy is a radical treatment method for an elderly patient with these tumors.
