A case of completely thrombosed giant aneurysm of the internal carotid artery

Abstract

We reported a rare case with completely thrombosed giant aneurysm of the left internal carotid artery. Although CT and angiography suggested a parasellar tumor or thrombosed aneurysm, characteristic findings on MR imaging enabled to easily differentiate a completely thrombosed aneurysm from several kinds of tumors.
