Abstract

In this article, we discuss control of a repulsive type magnetic levitation system. First we show a experimental result by using a LQG controller. Next we try to achieve levitation control by means of the gain scheduling technique. Here we describe the repulsive type magnetic levitation system as a linear systems with a scheduling parameter and design a scheduled controller for the linear system with a scheduling parameter.
