Abstract

The Ca^<2+>-transient by sperm extract was inhibited by heparine or GDP-betaS unlike one during fertilization. Furthermore, sperm extract caused a transient increase in IP_3 mass but not in cGMP mass. These results show that sperm extract caused IICR in fertilized eggs but not stimulate CICR.
