A Study on the Freedom of Environmental Information in the System of Integrated Pollution Control in Britain.

Some points were proved to be stronger than Japanese system, in that there enacted much more detailed provisions concerning environmental information disclosure as the precondition which enables the public to participate in administrative decisions ; and in that laid down the rules on the provision of classified information which makes the public easy to recognize environmental situations, and the rules to secure the oppor-tunity of public inspection into registers.
