A web survey was conducted targeting both men and women who have experienced urami, utilizing text mining to elucidate the contemporary conceptualization of urami. As a result, "sadness" was newly identified as a core characteristic of urami. Subsequently, the relationship between psychological distress underlying urami and stalking-related behaviors was investigated using text mining. The results revealed specific psychological distress associated with each group: those with violence, those with proximity behaviors only, and those with neither. This study suggests mindfulness as an effective approach for stalking perpetrators, offering insights into the clinical focus and direction for perpetrator intervention.
