Research interests
本学の特徴の一つである漢方治療のエビデンスを確立するため,漢方に関する臨床および基礎研究を行っている.これまでに,アトピー性皮膚炎に対する漢方薬の効果を他覚的指標により評価し,苔癬化病変が主体の患者に桂枝茯苓丸が有効であることを明らかにした.また,紫雲膏に含まれるアルカニンが熱ショック蛋白質を介して細胞保護機能関連遺伝子の発現を誘導し,表皮角化細胞における紫外線誘発アポトーシスを抑制することなども解明した.
